Construction report #2, April 16 2023

After 20 construction days demolition of the interior walls, removal of much of the exterior siding, and work on the concrete pad for drainage is fully underway and in some cases coming to an end.  Reframing has begun for the new interior stairwell and some of the walls - work that will continue for some months now.  Here are a couple of photos of the work, and a link to a video update.

As we have begun construction interest and excitement is growing, and we thank all of you for your ongoing support.  Reconstruction of the building - Phase I of the project - is fully underway.  We still need your help with Phase II - funding for the outfitting of the building and to meet our commitment to fully fund the first two years of operation.  Community members ARE stepping up, but we need more to be completely ready when Phase I is complete.  If you have not looked at the video tour, please do so you can appreciate the design and how the Center will serve the full Upper Valley community.  Here's a link to that video.
